The next call is to my card supplier that pretty much backs up what I allready know and the next call is from my new best mate in L.A and I let him in now uncertian terms of what I have found out and I demand a full refund to my card . The refund still took quite a few more emails and calls but it came after a another 10 days.
LESSON 1. DO NOT!!! EVER..NEVER GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER TO ANYBODY OVER THE PHONE....EVER. LESSON 2. DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING UNLESS YOU OR YOUR LAWYER HAS READ IT THOUGHLY. YOU WOULDNT BUY A SMALL BUISINESS FROM THE WEEKEND CLASSIFIEDS WITHOUT CHECKING IT OUT FIRST WOULD YOU?. LESSON 3. WHEN CONSIDERING A NEW VENTURE DO THIS, OPEN UP GOOGLE AND TYPE IN THE NAME OF THE PROGRAME YOUR CONSIDERING AND ADD SCAM AFTER THE NAME LIKE THIS 'BLABLABLA SCAM ' .DOING THIS WILL AT LEAST LET YOU KNOW IF THE PROGRAME OR COURSE OR WHATEVER IT IS YOUR CONSIDERING IS A RORT. LESSONS 4. THROUGH TO 10 SEE LESSON .1... I CAN'T STESS THIS HIGHLY ENOUGH Please do these 3 things and you may not get stung and with luck we can put some of these parasites out of business. If one person reads this and is saved then this piece has done its job. |

Now heres were it all go's bad . He gets my card number from me, 'to carry out a credit check' and tells me he's just e mailed a basic contract outlining the T.O.S and I should sign it and get it to him without delay.
Well Im not sitting in front of my computer so I wait 'till I get home. When I open this contract up and read it the service is NOTHING like was explained so Im thinking that they sent the wrong contract, oh well these things happen Ill send him a message and deal with it tomorow. Then whilst Im on I go in and check my card balances to see how much we spent on our holiday... THEASE PRICKS HAVE MADE MULTIPLE DEBTS TO MY CARD TOTALING ALMOST $6000.00 UNTIL THE CARD WAS MAXED....... It's now too late to do anything about it, I have a really bad feeling and Im petrified as what my wife will do to me (or not do to me) when she finds out Ive fallen for this apparent scam.To say Im spewing would be a gross understatment......BUT I have a big ace in the hole ...They DONT have the signed contract from me so I foward it to a lawyer friend to have a look at to see where I stand. The next morning theres a flurry of phone calls, first from my friend who just says straight up "DONT SIGN THE CONTRACT" as it locks you in pretty tight and theres pretty much no way of exersising your right of refund if it all goes bad. As there is no contract between them and myself and I have not recieved any materials or products the charges are not ligit and border on fraud. |
